This 400-year-old wood has been revamped by volunteers to provide a local amenity and wildlife area. It boasts wildflower meadow, pond, hazel coppice and newly built all-weather paths. Wildflowers include bluebells, ox-eye daisies, grass vetchling, greater stitchwort, common spotted orchid, yellow flag iris, wood anemones and cowslips. Stag beetle 'loggeries' (half buried logs) and bird and bat boxes have been installed to encourage more wildlife. Access via Ringmead playing fields.
