Netherby Estate - ACC WIG/WMG

This is an extensive woodland of around nine separate woods with at least nine miles of tracks and paths that are close to the Scottish Border. The old estate woodland is still apparent and there are many old trees, and a variety of species. There are also coniferous plantations, and some self seeded trees. Some paths are obvious, however there are signs to paths which are overgrown and hard, if not impossible to follow. There are times when parts of the wood are closed for a variety of tasks.
