Medlock Valley Sites

The rather secretive river Medlock runs alongside Philips Park; a valued space for leisure and recreation from the area's heavy industrial past to its rebirth as home to Sportcity and the velodrome. Crossing Bank Rd presents a real contrast and the opportunity to walk the 1 mile trail through woodland to Clayton Vale local nature reserve.
