Macrobert Trust Estate

The estate consists of over 7200 acres including 5000 acres of farmland, a community garden waste recycling scheme, a curling club and a nine hole golf course. Ther 1900 acres of commercial forestry on the estate is made up of over 60% Scots pine and is managed to ensure a steady flow of timber.The estate also practices a programme of planting trees and shrubs alongside streams to help create habitats for wildlife and a network of 5 circular walks have been incorporated into this.
