Lower Woods And High Wood Longleat

These ancient semi-natural woodlands (SSSI)to the West of Longleat House are joined and provide an extensive walk either from Longleat or outside the park. Noted for its oak, ash and hazel habitats for spring flowers, birds and butterflies in. Lower woods can be accessed via East Woodlands Church and High Woods from Nockatt Car Park or within the parkland. Magnificent walking in all seasons.
