Holmburn, Fire Station, Barshare and Flush Park woods make up a community woodland area located behind Glaisnock Road in Cumnock. The woods are joined by a network of paths. The entrance to Holmburn wood, from which the other woods can be accessed, is on Holmburn Road off Glaisnock Road (B7083) where there is residential parking.
