Great Mole Wood

Sandwiched between Waterford Marshes and Waterford Heath this undulating small broadleafed woodland is on the side of an old quarry. A red dogwood hedge colours the western edge. Trees include oak, willow, hazel and silver birch. New tree planting has taken place reviving the woodland.
