Gortin Glen Forest Park is situated 6 miles outside Omagh at the western gateway to the Sperrin Mountains. The Park was first opened in 1967 and embraces some 1534 hectares of ground. This forest was originally planted solely for timber production, and it was the first forest park to be established in a coniferous woodland. There are many activities to enjoy including walking, mountain biking, camping and the five mile long drive with spectacular views.
