Godsons Holt is a small wood just outside the centre of Sleaford, which is easily accessible from the town. It's small, and only takes around 10 minutes of slow walking in a circular route to visit all parts, but there are some rewarding things to be seen - ash trees mainly (see them while you can), wild flowers and insects. You can also lose sight of civilisation, if you try hard, so it is also a peaceful retreat from the bustle of the town. Worth a quick visit.
