Gillham's Wood

This wood is accessed via a small private road (Gilham?s Lane) but can also be accessed by a public footpath and a bridleway. It is well worth the effort to get there and has a good network of paths within it. It was badly affected by the storms of 1987 but has recovered well and is an attractive place to visit. There is a good network of public footpaths in the area linking this wood to others that are also worth a visit.
