Gibson Spout

Gibson's Spout is a lovely little waterfall just a mile out of Bootle village. It was artificially enhanced by Victorian engineers to create small reservoir for the village water supply. There are rumours (2008) that a micro-hydro project might be located here to supply renewable energy to the village in future.
