Firbush Woodland lies on the southern shore of Loch Tay at the west corner near Killin. There are good views across the loch, especially from the edge of the woods at the shoreline. The loch offers watersports (including kayaking from Killin). The 128km Rob Roy Way passes close by. A cyclists' diversion follows the south side of the Loch along the edge of the wood. There is evidence of old settlements here but they were cleared in the 19th century.
