Cross Hillocks Wood (1)

Hillsborough Oaks was planted as a memorial to the 96 victims of the Hillsborough Disaster. 96 Oak trees stand within a mixed broadleaf woodland, around a central meadow area. A woodland walk allows visitors to explore the woods. Accessible from Garnett's Lane, off Netherley Road (west of Knowsley Expressway), the site is neighboured by Cross Hillocks Woods (east of the Expressway).
