Broughtonknowe Wood

Broughtonknowe Wood lies along the A701 to the north of Broughton in the Scottish Borders. It covers 135 acres and was planted in the late 1980s with a mix of commercial softwoods and large areas of native hardwoods. Around the turn of the millennium the new owner created a network of paths and also dug a large new pond that forms a focal point of the wood. Broughtonknowe is popular with dog walkers as there are no restrictions at any time of year. A small car park is signed from the main road.
