Boosie Plantation

Boosie Plantation lies just below the local golf course on a slope above Newcastleton. It has a waymarked circular walk through the wood giving the visitor the chance to make use of local amenities in 'Copshaw Holm,' the local alternative name for the village. The views across the Liddel Valley and to the hills beyond (on both sides of the Border) are excellent. For the quieter walker the birdsong is superb.
