Addiewell Bing

Once a derelict industrial site, Addiewell Bing is now a refuge for wildlife. The Bing was created by shale mining spoil. Years of planting have stabilised its slopes leaving diverse woodlands, naturally regenerated scrub and lots of wildlife.
