Located on the north side of the Water of Leith this Victorian cemetery has many notable trees (including two ancient Guernsey Elms, 3m in girth) and some historic graves (not least the eminent physician Sir James Young Simpson.) Whilst it is a local nature conservation site, it has also suffered years of neglect and is slowly being restored to health. Not really a place for children but definitely interesting!
