Want to get outdoors this winter and meet new people? Then come and join a walkabout with one of our walk leaders in the beautiful woodlands at Londonthorpe.

The walk will take in some of the magnificent views of the woods, Grantham, Belton Estate, the mansion house and Rose Cottage over by Syston Hall. Instead of having a set route, we'll ask you if there is anywhere in particular you would like to go. We could stroll through Londonthorpe Woods, Alma Woods, Londonthorpe Village or Bellmount Plantation, which could include a visit to Bellmount Tower.
When you finish the walk, you may wish to visit Grantham House (which is free to enter) for a well-earned refreshment.

Together with the National Trust, supported by National Lottery players through the National Lottery Heritage Fund, we've linked Londonthorpe Woods and Bellmount, reconnecting Grantham to its historic landscape.

There’s no need to book for this free event. Our walk leader will be waiting to meet you at Londonthorpe Woods car park.

Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring sturdy footwear. You may also wish to bring binoculars, a drink and a snack.
