Visit us at the world-famous RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2026 to see our Forgotten Forests Garden.

Designed by Ashleigh Aylett, the garden supports our Forgotten Forests campaign, highlighting our urgent work to revive rare, centuries-old ancient woods that were cleared for fast-growing timber plantations after the Second World War.

Visitors will follow a damaged ancient woodland’s restoration journey, witnessing the gradual transition from dense, dark conifer forest into a thriving, diverse woodland bursting with life, colour and beauty. With a winding path, meandering streams and dry stone walls weaving through the trees, it will feel like a real woodland experience. We want to inspire visitors to recognise and appreciate our priceless ancient woods and to play a part in their rescue.

The garden celebrates native woodland plants and trees. As well as sharing our important message, the display will demonstrate how visitors can plant native flora at home for a garden that supports local wildlife and is beautiful too.

Our garden is sponsored by Project Giving Back with support from Lloyds Banking Group and Hillier Nurseries, tree supplier to Forgotten Forests.
