Join us for a family-friendly guided walk exploring the native trees and fascinating history of Londonthorpe Woods.
Following an accessible route through the woods, we will use clues and features to identify common trees, discover the importance of trees in an urban environment, and find out fun facts about unusual species.
Starting at Londonthorpe Woods car park, we will follow a three-kilometre route through Londonthorpe Woods up to Alma Woods, before returning to the car park.
Supported by National Lottery players through the National Lottery Heritage Fund, we are working alongside the National Trust to reconnect Grantham to its historic landscape.
This is a free event. Booking in advance through the National Trust website is essential to secure your place.
Please dress appropriately for the weather.
You may wish to bring binoculars.
Suitable for ages 5+. Children must be accompanied at all times.
