Relax and unwind amongst the sights and sounds of nature.

Come along to Langley Vale Wood for a breath of fresh air in the peace and quiet of the woods.

Studies show that being out in nature can restore a sense of calm and improve wellbeing. At this event, we'll walk through Langley Vale Wood and practice mindfulness techniques on our journey, taking time to reflect and build a practice that you can take with you anywhere.

We'll enjoy a cup of herbal tea at the end of the walk as we reflect on the session. If you'd like one, please bring a mug with you. Or if you prefer, bring your own hot drink to enjoy.

This is a free event but booking in advance via Eventbrite is essential.

Don't forget

Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring sturdy footwear. Remember to bring a mug for herbal tea after the walk, or bring your own hot drink if you prefer.

There are no toilet facilities on site. The nearest public toilets are in Ashtead on Woodfield Lane (KT21 1AT).

Please make the Woodland Trust team aware of any medical issues before the start of the walk.

Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.

This surfaced car park has over 70 spaces, including disabled parking and RolecEV charging for electric vehicles. There is a charge, with all funds going towards the maintenance of Langley Vale Wood. Charges are as follows:

Two hours - £2
Four hours - £4
All day - £5

Payment can be made using a contactless card via the payment machines onsite or through the RingGo app. Please note: the machines do not take cash. Remember to allocate enough time for the event (we recommend four hours).
Access: this walk will be around 2.5 hours long. Unfortunately, the route we have planned isn’t suitable for prams or people with mobility issues.
