
Londonthorpe's military history: a guided walk
From war graves to the Bellmount plantation, discover the military history of Londonthorpe and the scale of local wartime efforts.

Join us for a unique opportunity to learn about Londonthorpe's fascinating military history.
The National Trust and the Woodland Trust, supported by National Lottery players through the National Lottery Heritage Fund, are working together to reconnect Grantham to its historic landscape.
On this 7.5km (4.6-mile) guided walk, we will visit the war graves at Londonthorpe Church and the Bellmount plantation. We will also learn about the scale of the local area's contribution to the war effort during both the First and Second World Wars.
This walk will start at Londonthorpe Woods car park.
This is a free event but please book in advance to secure your spot.
Please dress appropriately for the weather.
You may wish to bring binoculars.
Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

- Price: free, but donations to support the management of our woodlands are welcome.
