
Guided walk in the Balgy area of Gleann Shìldeag
Venture through woodland creation and waterfalls on this circular guided walk amongst the mountains of Gleann Shìldeag.

Join us for a guided walk through the spectacular landscape near Balgy, on the shores of Upper Loch Torridon.
We'll explore a route which takes us through one of our areas of native woodland creation in Gleann Shìldeag, before returning past the Falls of Balgy.
The walk will cover three miles and will take approximately 2.5 hours.
This is a free event but booking in advance via Eventbrite is essential.
Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy footwear. Good waterproofs, walking boots and warm layers are advised.
Please bring any insect repellent and suncream if necessary, along with any refreshments you may need.
The nearest toilets and facilities are in Shieldaig village, a five-minute drive away.
Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.

There is limited parking so please car-share if possible. - Access: there is no public transport to the start point. The walk is generally on surfaced paths with some rough and boggy sections, so a reasonable level of fitness is required.
- Dogs: well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
