Arable plants walk at Langley Vale Wood
Join us at Langley Vale Wood for a guided walk to discover the rare arable plants that call this rich and varied site home.
Langley Vale Wood, Langley Vale
Come along to Langley Vale Wood to help us seek out rare and wonderful plants on a guided walk.
Previously an arable farm, we acquired Langley Vale Wood back in 2014. Just over 10 years on, the site is now a haven for wildlife with hidden treasures including the many arable plant species left over from its agricultural past, some of which are of national and international importance.
On this walk we'll explore the site in search of these species with our trusted volunteers.
This is a free event but booking in advance via Eventbrite is essential.
Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring sturdy footwear. You may also want to bring sun protection and a drink.
There are no toilet facilities on site. The nearest public toilets are in Ashtead on Woodfield Lane (KT21 1AT).
Please make the Woodland Trust team aware of any medical issues before the start of the walk.
Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
