Wood Wise – birds in focus

This edition of Wood Wise focuses on the issues affecting woodland birds, many species having declined in recent years.

We look at the work being done to support and better understand their needs. Other topics include managing woodland for birds, the effects of deer and adaptability to climate change. The loss of wood warblers and impacts of habitat creation are also discussed.
