The Woodland Trust owns more than 1,000 sites across the UK, covering in excess of 23,000 hectares. This is how we manage them.

Our vision is for a UK rich in native woodland and trees for people and wildlife. This means wooded landscapes, rich in nature’s diversity, that are resilient in the face of multiple challenges from climate change, pollution, pests, diseases and invasive species, changes in land use and more intensive management. It also means places of beauty and inspiration, accessible, productive and relevant to everyone.
