Trees and carbon position statement, September 2013

This position statement sets out the Trust’s stance on the role of trees in carbon offsetting and sequestration.

It also gives an overview of the many other benefits that trees and woodland bring and clarifies the position we will take to promote them and lobby on their behalf as a means of countering the effects of global warming.
