Is our Woodland Carbon scheme right for your business?
From corporate donations and carbon capture as part of our Woodland Carbon scheme to tailor-made partnerships, we have an opportunity to suit your company's needs.
Our Woodland Carbon scheme is aimed at businesses with carbon emissions that are above 300 tonnes of carbon or more. So the first step is to calculate the residual carbon emissions to find out the best way forward for you.
1. Carbon emissions below 300 tonnes?
If your carbon emissions fall below 300 tonnes, we can't capture your carbon under the Woodland Carbon Code, but you can still support our fight against the climate and nature crises with a donation.

2. Carbon emissions above 300 tonnes?
If the carbon emissions of your business are 300 tonnes or above, you're eligible for our Woodland Carbon scheme.
300–800 tonnes: capture your carbon
We’ll ask you to complete a simple questionnaire to see if we can capture your carbon. If successful you'll receive:
- Woodland Carbon logo to use in your customer and community communications
- brand guidelines and certificate.
Over 800 tonnes: become a corporate partner
You could become a Woodland Trust corporate carbon partner and benefit from a tailor-made package to help communicate your environmental commitments with your customers, community and stakeholders. Depending on your investment level, you could receive:
- use of logo, band guidelines and certificate for your communications
- case studies to document your journey with us and to help tell your stories
- annual impact report
- tree planting or other employee engagement activities.
