Curriculum linked resources
Save all your favourite Woodland Trust content in one place.Find out more about Scrapbook
We have developed a range of KS2 and KS3 curriculum-linked resources to help you teach your pupils about woods and trees.
Our materials can be used to support and inspire outdoor learning, as well as classroom-based lessons. They range from tree planting to natural crafts to the study of ancient trees. Subjects covered include maths, literacy and science.
We are currently updating all of our resources to reflect the new 2014 curriculum. New materials will be added to this page when they are completed.
We have created some engaging activities to support our free trees for schools. They include measuring and exploring a hedge, food chains, storytelling and natural craft ideas.
The Man Who Planted Trees assembly
This inspirational story will help your pupils understand the importance of woods and trees and how we can all make a difference.
Wildlife ID sheets and topic packs
We have lots of fantastic activity sheets to help encourage outdoor exploration and adventure. Activities are grouped by season and into topic packs to help save you time, such as Forest Schools, trees, minibeasts and butterflies.
