Teesbank Plantation

Better known as Abbey Bridge Woods, the woods are on the steep banks of the River Tees as it flows through a limestone gorge and under the Abbey Bridge. Good for plants and birds, very photogenic, but the rocky banks and deep, fast water make it less family friendly.
