The park was restored by Lewisham Council after the closure of the golf course. It is now home to ancient woodland, meadows, a swimming lake and, unusually for an urban park, it features various listed buildings which are being renovated and brought back to life. There are oak and ash trees as you enter from Ravensbourne Station and further on oak, sweet chestnut and beech. Find further information here: https://beckenhamplacepark.com/
