Enhancing flock health and field drainage with tree planting, June 2015 case study

This case study explains how planting trees can improve land management, animal welfare and productivity.

Welsh sheep farmer Jonathan Francis was often unable to turn stock into his fields because of heavy rainfall and lack of shelter. So he turned to Coed Cymru and the Woodland Trust. With their help and advice he incorporated trees and fencing on his farm, with some remarkable results.
