Moseley Bog is a truly magical place. It is believed that J R R Tolkien the author of The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit fame gathered inspiration here when a child. It is also teeming with bird life and other animals. The Wildlife Trust and Birmingham Council have spent much time in establishing this wood as a place to visit. A super place to take the children and perhaps inspire them as it did Tolkien. A must visit wood.
