Nestled within a steep-sided valley, Gorpley Clough is an unspoilt area of natural woodland with many waterfalls, crossed by a number of wooden bridges. A great place for a peaceful stroll, but beware as paths are unsurfaced and may be very muddy. Follow the stream path to make the most of the waterfalls, or clamber to the top of the clough for views across the fields. Top path is accessed by steps and is very high in places . Lower path may be slippery when wet - and uneven ground in places
