Eggerslack and Hampsfield
FORESTRY ENGLAND WOOD
On the edge of Grange, this wood is a delightful, tranquil place with lots of native trees, abundant wildlife and undergrowth of holly, ivy and ferns. It is well provided with footpaths and is a natural gateway to Hampsfell itself with its spectacular views. There are no facilities in the wood itself but Grange has plenty of places to sustain hungry walkers and wood explorers.
