Green Lane Wood

This wood is a Wiltshire Wildlife Trust nature reserve. It is an ancient woodland of predominately oak with coppicing. There is also a wild flower meadow. Particularly good for bird and butterfly habitats. Smith's Well Wood opposite is part of the reserve but not as interesting. There is a small car park off the A350, a very busy road, so leaving should be done very carefully.
