Demainholm

Demainholm, owned by Buccleuch Estates, is mostly made up of conifers planted in 1995. There is a managed SSI on the site with mature, mostly beech trees. There are waymarked walks over mainly reasonable paths, but be prepared for some wetter, rougher areas. The views and wildlife are excellent. Neighbouring is a much older FC plantation.
