Lumb Brook Valley is a series of of inter-connected but distinctive woodlands that are popular with locals and visitors. Fords Rough is an area of Ancient Semi Natural Woodland and the Dingle has a mix of conifers and broadleafed trees. The valley has surfaced and well used footpaths linked to the adjacent housing estates and roads.
