Wolstonbury Hill is a National Trust site in the South Downs National Park. This beautiful and tranquil place is home to a great diversity of plants and insects. The mature broadleaf woodland of the lower slopes gives way to chalk grassland rich in wildflowers higher up the hill. Some of the paths are steep, some with steps, and others are bridleways which become boggy after rain. The woods can be reached from New Way Lane, a single track road, where there is limited roadside parking.
