Pole Bank Wood

This wild patch of woodland is located in the grounds of Pole Bank Nursing Home. I have spoken to the local authority who have confirmed there is public access. There is a well maintained circular path which leads from the home down to an interesting old stone bridge, but I wouldn't recommend trying to go any further as there are no real paths and very steep sides to the valley. A nice place to hear the birds singing and see a mostly undisturbed woodland.
