Join us at Langley Vale Wood - our First World War Centenary Wood for England - for a guided walk during the Month of Remembrance.

Discover the wonders of Langley Vale Wood on a guided walk to mark the Month of Remembrance.
You'll be joined at this First World War Centenary Wood by our trusted walk leaders. Together we'll explore the site and its First World War art installations, and hear how we have transformed this former arable land into a haven for people and nature, while creating a space to remember those lost in the First World War.
This is a free event but booking in advance via Eventbrite is essential. Please note, tickets are not currently on sale but will be available from 1 September. In the meantime, you can sign up to receive a reminder to book from Eventbrite.
Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring sturdy footwear.
There are no toilet facilities on site. The nearest public toilets are in Ashtead on Woodfield Lane (KT21 1AT).
Please make the Woodland Trust team aware of any medical issues before the start of the walk.
Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.

This surfaced car park has over 70 spaces, including disabled parking and RolecEV charging for electric vehicles. There is a charge, with all funds going towards the maintenance of Langley Vale Wood. Charges are as follows:
Two hours - £2
Four hours - £4
All day - £5
Payment can be made using a contactless card via the payment machines onsite or through the RingGo app. Please note: the machines do not take cash. Remember to allocate enough time for the event (we recommend four hours). - Access: this walk will be around 2.5 hours long. Much of the route will be on unsurfaced paths and therefore may not be suitable for prams or people with mobility issues. - Dogs: well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
