Wood Wise – natural and cultural heritage

This issue looks at how trees and woods hold secrets to our natural and cultural heritage and how the two are intertwined.

Using examples of historical evidence, it shows how humans have shaped the natural world and how it has shaped us. And it warns of the importance of preserving both sides of our heritage as together they help us understand who we are.
