Trees Outside Woods report

Trees outside woods are as valuable as those in woodland, read about the benefits they provide...

Many trees do not grow in woodland, but are found singly, in hedgerows and in parks and gardens, or as small groves in an agricultural landscape. These trees are no less valuable than larger woodland and are a valuable contribution to the landscape. Learn about this forgotten resource that has never been accurately counted and is often undervalued.

A report to the Woodland Trust from Nick Brown and Roberta Fisher of the University of Oxford Department of Plant Sciences
