Celebrating urban trees

The RHS Chelsea Flower Show is taking place from 21-25 May and we have a significant presence this year. The conservation team have given their knowledge and support to the Fera ‘Stop the Spread’ Garden with its focus on the threats to trees and plants.

The Woodland Trust also has our own exhibit in the environment section at the show and has won a bronze award. The ‘Roots of London’ uses the unusual concept of a tube carriage showcasing trees and woodland planting to highlight the benefits of trees in urban environments.
