Stratton Wood, Purton Wood and Warneage Wood, all on the edge of Swindon are managed under similar woodland management regimes and provide public access benefits to a large local population as well as providing partnership and landscape scale opportunities. They also share the same key features. Their ability to deliver these is increased when all the woods are considered holistically and therefore during the 2018 Management Plan review they were all placed into a single ‘Group’ Management Plan. Therefore please see the Swindon Woods Management Plan which can be found under the Trust’s Stratton Wood.
