Lady Cannings Plantation

A commercially managed, coniferous, woodland on the edge of the Peak Park. The plantation offers extensive walks along a grid of fire breaks, whilst being sheltered from the prevailing winds. Popular with dog walkers. Near to Ringinglow with its welcoming pub, toy shop and Alpaca Farm (with cafe) and on the Houndkirk Road ( an ancient byway linking to the Fox House); offering panoramic views of Sheffield and beyond to the Trent Valley.
