The large conifer plantation at Hallyburton Hill consists of two main woods ' Drumsuldry Wood and Pictur Wood. The quiet forestry tracks through the wood are popular with walkers and bikers, and there are excellent views south to the River Tay and north across the Stathmore valley towards the Angus glens, from the top of Lundie Craig. Ledcrieff Loch, hidden within the trees, is thronged with dragonflies and bright blue damselflies in early summer.
