Radnor is part of the extensive Radnor Forest, an area of hill farming amongst the Cambrian Mountains in Powys. The wooded areas are managed by Natural Resources Wales. Walkers and horse riders are welcome but it should be noted that this is a working forest and that paths might be shut when tree cutting is underway. There are numerous paths including a waymarked route taking in several villages. Local pubs, accommodation providers and Tourist Information Centres provide leaflets.
