Drop in on Friday 6 or Saturday 7 August between 10am and 4pm to find out what we have been doing at the Young People’s Forest over the past 12 months and how you can get involved.

You will have the opportunity to meet staff and volunteers on the day and discuss plans for the future, and you can help with the design of the new memorial orchard.

We will also run guided walks around the woodland during the day which you can book onto when you arrive and will run at regular intervals depending on demand. We also have a family self-led trail to complete.

Don't forget

Please dress appropriately for the weather and walking in the woods.

Long trousers are advised. Please bring a hat and sun-cream or rainwear as necessary.

How to book

Booking is not required as this is a drop-in consultation session.

The main event area will be at the Woodland Trust office adjacent to Shipley Country park café and will be signposted on the day from the car park.

The event will be run in a COVID-secure way with social distancing and a one-way system for the displays. We will also ask people to sign in for track and trace and use the official NHS QR code poster check in, so please download the NHS Track and Trace app before you arrive.
