Come along to our pop-in public consultation events for the new woodland at Snaizeholme, on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 October, 10am - 4pm. Take your opportunity to ask us about our plans for the 222 hectares (550 acres) of land in the Snaizeholme valley.

When and where

  • Date: Saturday 23 October and Sunday 24 October, 10am - 4pm.
  • Price: Free, but donations to support the management of our woodlands are welcome.
  • Location: Meeting Room, Dales Countryside Museum, Hawes, DL8 3NT.
  • Dogs: Not allowed. Assistance dogs are welcome in the museum. 
  • Access: Dales Countryside Museum is pushchair and wheelchair friendly, with wide aisles, lifts, ramps, and a low-level information counter. There are RADAR facility toilets in the car park and fully accessible toilets in the Museum. Access is via a ramp from reception to the ground floor. 
  • Parking: Available at the Dale Countryside Museum, housed in the old railway station at Hawes, just off the main A684 in Wensleydale.
